Ingredients
Scale
- 2 wild salmon fillets
- 2 tsp. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp. honey
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
- Organic greens
Instructions
- Stir together balsamic vinegar, water, lemon juice, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a 12-inch sauté pan over medium high heat. Increase heat to high, add salmon skin side up, and sear until well browned, about 4 minutes.
- Turn fish over and sear until just cooked through, about 3 minutes more. Transfer salmon to plates and carefully add vinegar mixture to skillet (liquid will bubble vigorously and steam).
- Simmer, stirring for about 2 minutes, until thickened. Spoon glaze over salmon and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve over a bed of organic greens and enjoy!
Notes
Please choose organic ingredients where possible.
Please always choose wild salmon, not farm-raised. Wild salmon has less calories and fat than farmed. Wild salmon also contains powerful antioxidants. Do not be fooled by organic salmon, it is still farmed. Always choose wild!
